About the ABW Foundation
The American Business Women’s Foundation was established in January 1998 when the Board of Directors of ABWA approved a proposal for the Foundation to receive, administer, and expend funds for charitable and educational purposes in connection with helping women achieve their business and professional goals. The foundation provides guidance to women pursuing education and training through an approved curriculum as a means of qualifying for a place in the business world.
For 60 years, members of the American Business Women’s Association have worked together to change their own lives and those of other workingwomen. With the establishment of the American Business Women’s Foundation, businesswomen have a new avenue to make the world a better place for workingwomen. The Foundation promotes networking and programs to create opportunities for women to achieve their business and professional goals.
The Foundation is recognized as a 501 (C) (3) entity.
