The Hawaii Education Association (HEA) is an independent, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization governed by its members. HEA focuses on the perpetuation and improvement of education in Hawaii, and the enhancement of the welfare of its members
HEA's year-round activities include literary contests for public school students, scholarships, and programs designed to encourage young people to enter the teaching profession. Member benefits include insurance and discount purchase programs.
